Solid wood

Only the best solid beech wood from the forests of Southern Germany is used for the frames of Röwa slatted frames.

The same standards used for selecting wood for furniture surfaces are used when choosing tree trunks for the beds. This applies not only to the wood's visual appearance: Only flawless wood guarantees maximum stability and spring properties. In order to ensure premium quality, the trunks are sawn in our own mill.

Solid wood

The frames are manually bonded with swell dowels and are not screwed. No wear, no creaking. Moreover, Röwa slatted frames are 100% Made in Germany.

As it is a natural product, wood must be able to breathe. That is why the surfaces are not painted, but rather treated with natural linseed oil varnish.

Of course, the spring slats are not manufactured from solid wood. Seven layers of bonded beech wood provide them with their elasticity and resilience, as well as with their stability.

A Röwa slatted frame is a solid investment for years to come.
