The all-round bed system

In order to correctly adjust the individual requirements of each sleeper to the sleeping position and to the sleeper's size, weight, and proportions, the bed system must be adjusted accordingly.

For this purpose, the mattresses are divided into different zones with varying degrees of firmness and varied functions (see schematic illustration below). The slatted frame requires a division that is adjusted accordingly – especially for foam and latex mattresses – and must support these functions (e.g. the gentle sinking of the shoulder in the side position or support of the lumbar region.

The combination of a mattress and perfectly matching slatted frame is essential in achieving an ergonomically correct sleeping position. Röwa bed systems are designed for just that combination.

Finding the appropriate pillow is just as important, especially for correct positioning of the cervical spine region. Specialist dealers have a selection of types and heights ready for you.
